     Enjoy an 8 Day vacation to the following places: We will travel to Williamsburg, VA. This was a gathering place for leaders of the American Revolution.  Next stop will be Virginia Beach to enjoy the beautiful beaches.

     Then you hop over to Norfolk where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Naval Base followed by a visit to the Douglas MacArthur Memorial. Next journey is to The Outer Banks of North Carolina to visit the Wright Brother Memorial in Kitty Hawk. Then on to Roanoke Island, followed by Ocracoke Island.  Our journey home will take us through Baltimore, Maryland where we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Baltimore.

Mama Mia is set on the Greek island of Kalokairi. A 20 year old woman named Sophie wants to have a traditional wedding and hopes her father will walk her down the aisle, but there's one problem: she has no idea who her father is! With help from her mother’s journal, she narrows the possibilities down to three men, and hilarity ensues as they all claim her as their child! Featuring all the hits you know and love, like“Dancing Queen”, “Thank You for the Music”, and, of course, “Mamma Mia!”, this show will have you singing and dancing in the aisles!



 

Warner Theatre presents “Follies”

First we will start off with lunch (included) at San Marino restaurant.  You will enjoy a choice of Veal Parmigiana, Stuffed Sole, or Chicken Marsala, served with all the trimmings. After lunch we will head over to the Warner Theatre in Torrington. Here you will enjoy a matinee performance of the musical “Follies” with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The show is about a reunion of past performers of the 1940’s “Weismann’s Follies”. The reunion takes place in a crumbling Broadway theatre where they initially performed, which is now scheduled for demolition. The focus is on two couples attending the reunion, whose wives were former showgirls. These couples are very unhappy in their marriages. The drama includes a husband having an affair with a young woman, and a wife who is in love with her friend’s husband, and a self-absorbed husband and an emotionally abandoned wife.  There is plenty of drama!!  Some songs you’ll remember: “Broadway Baby”, “I’m Still Here”, “Could I Leave You” and “Losing My Mind”.

This dinner theatre is unique.  Here you will first enjoy a great buffet where they offer a large variety of hot and cold foods, main entrees, side dishes, beverages, and yummy homemade desserts. After lunch we will head into the theatre to enjoy some great entertainment worthy of Broadway. This comedy, “Lunch with Mrs. Baskins” has a nice touch of romance.  Mrs Baskins, a retired widow, continuously sets up appointments with sales people solely to have lunch and conversation with them in her home. Two young sales people Terry and Kira, one of which is very successful in selling and the other one not has just learned her fiancée is cheating on her when they accidently meet in Mrs. Baskins apartment. Although neither have any intent on a relationship, Mrs Baskin thinks otherwise! Following the play sit back and relax for further entertainment with music and laughter.

 We will start with a complete lunch at one of Boston’s many fine restaurants. After lunch, you’ll board a Boston Harbor Cruise vessel, where we will enjoy the beautiful Tall ships docked there. The captain will point out various ships of interests from many different countries. The Tall Ships are sailing to Boston as part of the Sail Boston 2017 Festival.
